<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto light control device that can suppress lighting of the light when the lighting is unnecessary. <P>SOLUTION: An auto light control device includes: the light that illuminates outside the vehicle; an illuminance sensor that detects the illuminance outside the vehicle; a light ECU (electronic control unit) that lights the light based on the output of the illuminance sensor; and an obstacle distance sensor that detects the distance B between the vehicle front obstacle and the vehicle. The light ECU performs lighting suppression control (S7) to suppress the lighting of the light in the condition that the light is turned off and when the distance B detected by the obstacle distance sensor is nearer than the prescribed distance B1(S3:YES). As a result, the driver ends the driving as the vehicle stops, so that the lighting of the light is suppressed when the lighting of the light is felt unnecessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
