<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Pachinko machine capable of preventing illegal action which uses a strung ball by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The Pachinko machine comprises a launching guide passage 34 communicating with a playfield 8 of a game board 7, a launcher 23 for launching game balls to the playfield 8, and a launching rail 36 for holding the game balls supplied from an upper stage receiving bowl 13 at a launching standby position 36a. The launcher 23 launches the game balls held at the launching standby position 36a to the playfield 8 through the launching guide passage 34. In an upper position in a space S defined between the launching rail 36 and the launching guide passage 34, there are arranged a detection lever 39 which can rotate a position staying off from a passing route of the game balls and a rotatable inhibitor 41 which is protruded at a constant position in the passing route of the game balls. When the detection lever 39 is rotatively operated by string-shaped bodies 43 attached to the game balls, the detection lever 39 locks the inhibitor 41 at the constant position.
