摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for take-up control in an electronic pattern knitting machine, capable of automatically taking up a knitted fabric under appropriate and stable take-up tension even when the pattern of the knitted fabric is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, a take-up control section 6 can set the control mode of a take-up servo motor 5 to modes including a torque control mode for rotating the take-up servo motor 5 so that the take-up tension of a knitted fabric is constant, and a position control mode for rotating the take-up servo motor 5 at a constant rotation angle with respect to the rotation of the knitting machine. When the knitted fabric with a first pattern is produced in the position control mode, and then the pattern is changed to a second pattern, the mode is automatically switched over from the position control mode to the torque control mode, thereby automatically taking up, in the torque control mode, the knitted fabric with the second pattern after the pattern change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
