The system has a controllable catheter (2) comprising two working channels and a laser fiber. The catheter is designed without optical elements for imaging. A separate imaging system (16) is arranged outside the catheter and connected with a control device (22) for robotic control of the catheter. The laser fiber is arranged in one of the working channels. A laser system is arranged with the laser fiber. The control device is designed such that the control device controls the catheter based on picture signals produced by the imaging system. The imaging system is designed as a computed tomography system, magnetic resonance therapy system or ultrasound system.
