摘要 Driving stability and water discharge performance are improved in a balanced manner. A pneumatic tire has inner and outer (relative to the vehicle) crown circumferential grooves (3i, 3o) located on both sides of the tire equator and extending in the circumferential direction of the tire. A center land section (5) is formed between the grooves (3i, 3o), and curved inclined grooves (8) are arranged in the center land section (5). The curved inclined grooves (8) each obliquely extend from an outer end (8a) that is open in the outer crown circumferential groove (3o), run beyond the tire equator to extend obliquely to the inner side relative to the vehicle, change their direction to the outer side relative to the vehicle, and extend obliquely to an inner end (8b) in the center land section (5). The curved inclined grooves (8) are connected to each other by connection grooves (11) extending in the circumferential direction of the tire from the inner ends (8b). The center land section (5) has a center rib (5a) formed surrounded by the connection grooves (11), those portions of the curved inclined grooves (8) which extend between the connection grooves (11), and the crown circumferential groove (3i). The center rib (5a) extends continuously in the circumferential direction of the tire while repeating increase and decrease in its width in the direction of the axis of the tire. The ratio between the maximum width and the minimum width of the center rib (5a) is in the range of 2.0 to 4.0.
