PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game control technology with high entertainment properties.

SOLUTION: A game device includes: an input receiving unit that receives the input of user's operations; a control unit 140 that controls a game in which the player's character plays golf according to the operation input; and a screen generating unit 166 that generates a game screen. The control unit 140 includes an impact determining unit 145 that acquires the position of an input device at start of a shot when the user grips the input device and swings and the position of the input device when impacted and compares them with each other to determine the position of the impact and a path calculating unit 150 that calculates the path of a hit ball on the basis of the position of the impact determined by the impact determining unit 145.
