<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo compressor that can reduce the amount of lubricating oil reaching a demister. <P>SOLUTION: The turbo compressor 1 includes a housing 3 which houses lubricating oil, a gear member 5 which is housed in the housing 3 and to which the lubricating oil is supplied by the rotation, and a demister 9 which is arranged above the gear member 5 in the housing 3, and provided with an intake port 7 communicating with the outside of the housing 3, and captures the lubricating oil stirred up by the rotation of the gear member 5 and returns it below the housing 3. A gear cover 11 for gathering the lubricating oil to be stirred up by the rotation of the gear member 5 below the housing 3 is provided around the gear member 5. A demister cover 15 which forms a very small gap 13 between the inner wall surface of the housing 3 and itself, and returns the lubricating oil captured by the demister 9 below the housing 3, is provided in the vicinity of the intake port of the demister 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
