<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image monitoring device capable of monitoring an image and the position of a camera on a map in real time. <P>SOLUTION: According to this embodiment, the image monitoring device comprises a receiver and a controller. The receiver receives multicast distribution of image information and positional information of the camera from the camera via a network.
