<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and heating cooker which can change a load for displaying a progress status in accordance with information amount in communications, to properly display the progress status. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared communication control unit 200b in a control unit 200 detects a communication protocol on the basis of information at the initial stage of communication. If the communication protocol is IrSimple or IrSS, which provides higher speed communication than IrDA, a display control unit 200a controls a liquid crystal color panel to make a load of displaying a progress status on the liquid crystal color panel lower than a load of displaying it on the liquid crystal color panel when the communication protocol is IrDA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
