<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom drive control device for a work vehicle, capable of using an optimal driving mode according to the condition of a work place upon driving a boom using an electric motor and an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The boom drive control device 14 includes a battery mode, a hybrid mode, and a PTO mode as a driving mode for driving a boom 7. The battery mode is a driving mode for driving the boom 7 by an electric motor 133. The hybrid mode is a driving mode for driving the boom 7 by an electric motor 133 for a short time and subsequently driving the same by an engine 123 concurrently charging a work battery 131. The PTO mode is a driving mode for driving the boom 7 by the engine 123.
