<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having a stator in which the number of salient poles thereof is 18 and a rotor in which the number of magnetic poles on the outer peripheral surface thereof is 16, and capable of suppressing torque ripples. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor having a rotor 2 and a stator arranged at the outside in a radial direction of the rotor 2, the stator includes a stator core 13 which has 18 pieces of salient poles 13a protruding inward in the radial direction, the rotor 2 includes a plurality of permanent magnets 8 which are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction of the rotor 2 and are opposed to a tip surface 13e of the salient poles 13a with a gap therebetween, and the number of the magnetic poles on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 2 is 16. An opposing surface 8b of the permanent magnet 8, which opposes to the tip surface 13e of the salient poles 13a, is formed in a shape of a convex surface, and has a curvature radius of 22.5 (mm) to 25 (mm). In addition, the minimum gap between the tip surface 13e of the salient poles 13a and the opposing surface 8b of the permanent magnets 8 in the radial direction is 2 (mm) to 2.5 (mm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
