<p>A method and system for monitoring the usage of group subscribers are provided. Said method comprises: a first policy control entity transmits a usage monitoring request to a second policy control entity; when the second policy control entity receives the usage monitoring request, it makes a usage monitoring policy decision according to the subscriber group subscription usage, and transmits usage monitoring information to the first policy control entity; according to the received usage monitoring information, the first policy control entity performs usage monitoring for the subscribers. With the method and system, usage monitoring for the group subscribers who share the subscription usage can be realized, and thus the shortage of the existing usage monitoring mechanism is solved.</p> |
