<p>PURPOSE: A foam resin composition for packing vegetables is provided to prevent corrosion by microorganism, and to remove ethylene gas generated by vegetables, thereby maintaining freshness of the vegetables. CONSTITUTION: A foam resin composition for packing vegetables comprises 30-99.9 weight% of a foam resin selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene, polybutylene succinate, a biodegradable resin and polyurethane, 5-20 weight% of a porous absorbent, and 0.1-70 weight% of a cell-stable functional material. The porous absorbent comprises one or more selected from illite, zeolite, bentonite, tourmaline, germanium, barley stone, shell and activated charcoal.</p> |
