<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a radio communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communications system comprises a transmitter 1, a receiver 2, a first management unit 3, and a second management unit 4. The transmitter 1 transmits information on the peripheral cells of a cell in which the radio communication terminal is located. The receiver 2 receives the information on the peripheral cells transmitted from the transmitter 1. The first management unit 3 manages the number of times of not being selected as a transition destination, with respect to each cell included in the information on the peripheral cells received by the receiver 2. The second management unit 4 manages the ranks of respective cells as candidates of the transition destination, according to the number of times of not being selected as the transition destination and selects a cell of the transition destination according to the ranks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
