<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate formation of a printing label after the printing label has been changed with length desired by an operator, while maintaining design such as printing contents as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This printing label forming device 1 includes: a thermal head 23 printing a cover film 103; a label image memory 220 storing a plurality of sorts of label images M having a predetermined label length and printing contents and including variable length parts m which can be extended or shrunk in a carrying direction and invariable length parts s which cannot be extended or shrunk; and a display part 5 selectively displaying the label images M. An instruction of changing the length with respect to the selected specific label image M is acquired, an image correction process is performed to extend or shrink at least one of the variable length parts m, according to a change quantity based on the change instruction, and a feed roller 27 and the thermal head 23 are cooperated and controlled to form the printing label in response to the change instruction, by using the processed label image M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
