<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel material that has shock-absorbing characteristics for a mechanical load and sufficient extensibility in order to follow a movement and also exhibits excellent moisture permeability. <P>SOLUTION: The silicone porous material is provided, which has a water-insoluble solid particle dispersible in water existing in continuous pores. The silicone porous material is obtained from a water-in-oil emulsion including at least an organopolysiloxane, the water-insoluble solid particle dispersible in water, a surfactant, and water, and exhibits excellent moisture permeability because the water-insoluble solid particles exist or unevenly exist in the continuous pores to the extent that passing of water vapor is not prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
