The electronic device (1) further includes: an optical characteristic detection section (3) for detecting, on the basis of an output of the optical sensor (5), a characteristic of light incident on a display region which corresponds to the optical sensor (5); and a color saturation adjustment section (4) for adjusting, on the basis of the characteristic thus detected, a color saturation of display information which is to be displayed in the display region.
