VEHICLE DOOR

A vehicle door in which a door panel is configured by combining an inner panel and an outer panel and in which a door frame is configured in an embodiment including an upper sash, a side sash and a corner at the boundary thereof. The door frame is provided with a main frame member comprising a designed part positioned outside the vehicle and a cylindrical part positioned inside the vehicle. The main frame member comprises at least the cylindrical part continuous from the upper sash to the side sash, is configured as one member with the corners having a curved shape, and is fixed to the inner panel. A panel/outer frame unit having a shape corresponding to the designed part of the main frame member is formed integrally with the outer panel, and the panel/outer frame unit covers, from outside the vehicle, the designed part of the main frame member from the upper sash to the side sash. By this means, a vehicle door can be obtained with high productivity and reduced manufacturing costs while having both good design properties and ensured strength.
