A mirror carrier (10) rotates about an axis (13) vertical to the beam axis (7). The cross-section including the latter is oval. Its larger cross-sectional axis (11) is eccentrically crossed by the axis of rotation (13). The circumference of the support is fitted with mirror elements (14). The latter are pref. parabolic in cross-section. The cross-section of the carrier can have two small cross-sectional axes. The axis of rotation crosses the point of intersection of the larger cross-sectional axis and one (12) of the smaller. ADVANTAGE - Allows continuous movement at high speed.
