Controlling agricultural distribution machines - using image of distribution area formed on recording medium having tracks of defined width

A method of controlling agricultural distribution machines according to their position on the application area involves forming an image of the area during a calibration process involving a linear development on a storage medium. Starting from a defined point at one edge of the area, paths (2-14) of defined width are described until the entire area is recorded on the medium. The storage medium can be used with simple and multiple path system. The distribution machine can be controlled to operate over every path, every second, every third or fourth track etc.. USE/ADVANTAGE - Suitable for dispersing fertiliser without having to travel along each furrow.
