The device has a housing with a gas inlet (2) and a gas outlet (3), where the rotor rotates in the housing. The gas outlet is coupled with a piston-cylinder-unit (5) such that the fluid coming from a rotor (1) is introduced in a piston rear side space (7). The piston rear side space is connected with a piston front side space (6) by a controllable valve (10). The piston front side space is connected with a pressurized container (4) by a pressure line with a valve (12). The piston (8) has a piston spring (9), by which the piston is displaceable into the position of the piston front side space.
