<p>A display device (1) is provided with a drive unit comprising a scanning line drive circuit (4) and a signal line drive circuit (5). In a plurality of light-emitting pixels (10), a light-off state is started in sequence in units of rows of the light-emitting pixels (10) on the basis of a first pulse of a scanning signal input by way of a scanning line (17), and light emission data is written from a signal line (16) on the basis of a second pulse of the scanning signal. Before the light-off state of the last row of the plurality of light-emitting pixels (10) is started, the drive unit starts to write the light emission data to the first row of the plurality of light-emitting pixels (10), and after the light-on state of the first row of the plurality of light-emitting pixels (10) is started, the drive unit supplies the scanning signal and an image signal to the scanning line (17) and signal line (16) in such a way that the writing of the light emission data to the last row of the plurality of light-emitting pixels (10) is completed.</p> |
