Disclosed is an automobile engine hood, comprising an external plate (1) which constitutes an external portion of the automobile body and an internal plate (2) which is engaged with the external plate (1) and supports the external plate (1). The internal plate (2) comprises supporting devices located in the internal plate (2) and an annular panel (22) engaged with the edge of the external plate (1), wherein, the supporting devices include several supporting bars (21), with the several supporting bars (21) taking the central location of the internal plate (2) as a connecting location and being cross connected. The supporting devices and the annular panel (22) are provided thereon with energy absorbing structures. The engine hood has the advantages of high resistance to depression and distortion, light weight, safety protection for onboard persons, and improvement in overall vehicle NVH performance.
