<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that protects an optical sensor with a sensor cover for covering the optical sensor from collision between components, in assembling a reel module. <P>SOLUTION: The reel module 40 includes a reel 41, a motor 43, the optical sensor 44, and a base body 42 with the motor 43 and the optical sensor 44 mounted thereon. The reel 41 includes a band-shaped sheet 411, a wheel frame 413, and a ring frame 412. The wheel frame 413 includes a light shielding plate 4131 formed to project toward the base body 42 so as to shield an optical path of the optical sensor 44.
