<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive toroidal continuously variable transmission of a high cooling performance, which simplifies a structure of a lubricating oil supply passage to a traction surface and a bearing part of a power roller while preventing splashes of lubricating oil during rotation of the power roller. <P>SOLUTION: The toroidal continuously variable transmission has lubricating oil channels 29a, 400, 407, 408 from a trunnion 15 to a lubricating oil guide cover 300A, it is possible to prevent the lubricating oil from splashing from a cutout part 321 of the lubricating oil guide cover 300A and it is possible to effectively cool the power roller 11 because the lubricating oil is effective by directly spraying the lubricating oil to a traction surface (peripheral surface 11a) of the power roller 11 from the lubricating oil guide cover 300A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
