<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing quality by preventing air from being rolled in a portion where a gravure roll faces a manifold. <P>SOLUTION: A device includes a gravure roll 51 provided with a groove 51a in an outer periphery, and a manifold 61 which has a coating material storing section 101 that is arranged in parallel with the axis line of the gravure roll and that supplies and applies a coating material to the groove of the gravure roll in a pressurization state, at a face that faces the gravure roll, and an auxiliary coating material pool 121 is provided at a face where the manifold faces the gravure roll and upstream of a gravure roll rotation direction of the coating material storing section. This auxiliary coating material pool is configured as a partial region adjacent to the gravure roll, of a concave portion formed in an upper face of the manifold, and the concave portion communicates with the coating material storing section through a coating material discharge path 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
