<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely confirm an operation of a cutoff valve such as a solenoid valve used in a cutoff valve device for cutting off the flow of a refrigerant in an air conditioner and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The cutoff valve device 14 including a first cutoff valve 9 disposed in an inlet refrigerant flow channel, a second cutoff valve 10 disposed in an outlet refrigerant flow channel, and an external input means 22 for inputting an output signal of a refrigerant leakage detector 7, and opening and cutting off the inlet and outlet refrigerant flow channels by opening and closing the first and second cutoff valves on the basis of a state of the external input means, further includes driving means R1, R2 for independently driving the first cutoff valve and the second cutoff valve. The cutoff valve device may include display means L1, L3 for displaying the operated cutoff valves in checking the first and second cutoff valves, and the display means may display a valve opening or closing state of the operated cutoff valve in checking the first and second cutoff valves.
