<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and quickly display an image having undergone proper white balance correction, in image reproduction during underwater photographing. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a mode selector 401 for setting an underwater photographing mode; a reproduction image signal processor 314 for reproducing an image having undergone a white balance correction; and a display panel 309. A display image signal processor 308 performs, in the underwater photographing mode, a white balance correction using color temperature information relating to a reproduced image and color temperature information relating to an image signal obtained by an imaging device 305, thereby displaying on the display panel 309 an image obtained by reducing a red component from the reproduced image. In image reproduction, with respect to the color of ambient light of the display panel 309, the white balance state of a displayed image is optimized using a correction value relating to a camera image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
