<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a throughput of medium processing by a medium processor in a medium processing system comprising the medium processor, a plurality of control units, and a control server to intermediate control of the medium processor by each of the plurality of control units. <P>SOLUTION: In a medium processing system 1, a control unit 10 outputs, to a control server 11, a plug-in having a function related to processing utilizing a reading result by a contact image sensor 30 of a cheque processor 14.
