<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic particle favorable as a biomaterial binding magnetic carrier excelling in a binding property of a biomaterial, in a recovery property by magnetic force, and in a dispersion property when magnetism is removed, and capable of exhibiting excellent sensitivity at an immunoassay including a short-time washing process. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic particle (E) includes, in a nonmagnetic metal oxide (D), superparamagnetic metal oxide particles (C) having an average particle diameter of 1-15 nm, with (C) accounting for 60-95 wt% of a total weight of (C) and (D). The average particle diameter of (E) is preferably 1-5 μm. (C) is preferably at least one kind selected from a group including magnetite, γ-hematite, magnetite α-hematite intermediate iron oxide and γ- hematite-α-hematite intermediate iron oxide. (D) is preferably at least one kind selected from a group including silicon oxide, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, yttrium oxide and tantalum oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
