<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit in which prism replacement is smoothly carried out and a measuring range is stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging unit 1 comprises: a prism unit 5 for holding a prism 9 inside; a housing 3 in which a prism insertion section 23 where the prism unit 5 is attached/detached to/from is formed, and measurement light is incident from the outside; and two imaging elements 7a and 7b built in the housing 3. The prism insertion section 23 is formed so as to position the prism 9 together with the prism unit 5 inside the housing 3, when the prism unit 5 is inserted.
