<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion device which allows proper compression stress to act on a thermoelectric element and protects the thermoelectric element with a simple structure, and to provide a manufacturing method of the thermoelectric conversion device. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion device 11 has: a first substrate 15; a second substrate 26 disposed facing the first substrate 15; and a thermoelectric element 22 having one end joined to a first electrode layer 14 of the first substrate 15 and the other end joined to a second electrode layer 24 of the second substrate 26. Further, the thermoelectric conversion device 11 has a reinforcement member 30 having one end joined to a first insulation substrate 15a and the other end joined to a second insulation substrate 26a. In the thermoelectric conversion device 11, the linear expansion coefficient of the reinforcement member 30 is larger than the linear expansion coefficient of the thermoelectric element 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
