<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device that can properly correct a sheet skew even if a sheet is not rectangular like a tab sheet without complicating software control. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveyance device includes: end detection sensors 6, 7 that detect the skews of the sheets S at its end; a line sensor 8 that detects the skew of the sheet S at its side; and skew correction rollers 2, 3 that are disposed to be perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the sheet S at a constant interval so that peripheral velocity differences enable the skew of the sheet S to be corrected. The skew of the sheet S is corrected by controlling peripheral velocities of the skew correction rollers 2, 3 based on detection results by the end detection sensors 6, 7 when the end detection sensors 6, 7 do not detect tabs of the sheets S, and a detection result by the line sensor 8 when the end detection sensors 6, 7 detect the tabs of the sheets S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
