<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt for a vehicle belt continuously variable transmission that can reduce noise without increasing the number of elements comprising one transmission belt for the vehicle belt continuously variable transmission, and to provide a method for manufacturing the transmission belt. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of elements 66 comprising the transmission belt 48 of the vehicle belt continuously variable transmission are composed of two or more elements whose flank angle θf formed by a pair of side surfaces of the elements 66 are mutually different. Accordingly, more noise can be suppressed without increasing the number of elements 66 comprising the one transmission belt 48 for the vehicle belt continuously variable transmission, compared with when elements having different thicknesses are used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
