In order to reduce an erroneous operation and electrostatic breakdown resulting from external static electricity, a liquid crystal display device includes: a first pad (341) that is connected to ground wiring provided in a flexible substrate (3) and that is in contact with a rear case (4); and a second pad (342) that is connected to the ground wiring and that is in contact with a front case (5). Here, the first pad (341) and the second pad (342) are provided in a protrusion portion (34) that is sandwiched between a side wall (42) and an external wall (52).
