[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method capable of measuring trace analyte (particularly analyte having a sugar chain) amounts with high precision; and a device used in said measurement method. [Solution] This method for measuring analyte amounts is characterized by using a lectin labeled with a fluorescent dye, ideally a lectin having a dissociation rate constant (kd) of 1.0x10-6-1.0x10-3 (S-1) as a secondary antibody, in a sandwich assay using Surface Plasmon-field enhanced Fluorescence Spectroscopy (SPFS).
