PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of fermented bellflower is provided to increase the content of platycodin D and reduce Gomi of bellflower characteristic. CONSTITUTION: Grind a bellflower. Sterilize a grinded bellflower. Cultivate sterilized bellflower as a yeast. Put 50 to 100g of yeast per 1kg of cultivated bellflower and cultivate it for two to four days at 25 to 35 deg. C. Filter and concentrate the cultivated bellflower. Pulverize the concentrated bellflower by lyophilizating it. A yeast if separated from malt which is selected from the group that composed of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Saccharomyces ellipsoideus, Saccharomyces coreanus, Saccharomyces carlsbergensis, Zygosaccharomyces major Saccharomyces lactics, Saccharomyces rouxii and Hansenula anomala.
