PURPOSE: A composite spun yarn and a method for fabricating the same are provided to be woven as a fabric with excellent wearability and cut-resistance and to remove inconvenience. CONSTITUTION: A composite spun yarn comprises a core yarn and a covering yarn which is false-twisted on the core yarn. The core yarn is a plied yarn with a plurality of single yarns formed of aramid. The covering yarn is a spun yarn. The spun yarn is formed of aramid, ultrahigh molecular polyethylene, polybenzoxazole, polybenzimidazole, rayon, polyphenyl sulfide, polyethylene terephthalate, or nylon. A method for fabricating the composite spun yarn comprises: a step of preparing the aramid ply yarn; and a step of false-twisting the covering yarn on the aramid ply yarn.
