PURPOSE: A ship with a detachable storage battery and an additional switchboard is provided to freely control power consumption and service period by having a detachable storage battery and an additional switchboard. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a low-sulphur oil or heavy oil storage tank(10), a generator(20), a first switchboard(30), a detachable storage battery(40), a second switchboard(50), an external facility(60), and internal equipment(70). The generator generates electricity by using low-sulphur oil or heavy oil as fuel. The first switchboard controls and homogenizes the current and voltage of electricity generated in the generator. The detachable storage battery is suitable for the ISO(International Standardization Organization) container standard. The external facility receives the electricity from a steady generating facility in land, or supplies the electricity to the switchboard in a ship, or receives the electricity from the switchboard. The external facility comprises all kinds of equipment including sailing communication equipment that consume the electricity in the ship.
