TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR IT

The systems and the transport facility for the latter are designed for mass (public) transport in towns and villages and for in-plant transport. They provide for the automation of traffic control in the network. It is also possible for the vehicles to continue moving at small distances after they leave the system. The transport system includes crossing monorail (1) branches where at the cross points there are build depot stations (5) on two levels and connected to the monorail (1) branches by means of transition ramps (6). The stations (5) are provided with platforms for the stopping vehicles (7), transit roadways (10), passenger platforms (8) with approaches (9) to them connected to one another with vertical connections (12). The transport vehicles is with a cabin or a container hanging on a support and with drive wheels connected with a drive unit to the monorail road (1). It is supplied with an additional drive unit with lower suspension for travelling through the branching ramps (13), through the transition ramps (6), in the area of the stops (5) and when going out of the transport network.
