Idler bearing for a motor vehicle transmission system

The bearing has idle gears (20) arranged on a countershaft (34) over a radial bearing (24). A stop is arranged perpendicular to an axis (11) of the countershaft. A thrust bearing (30) is arranged between the stop and the idle gears, and comprises rolling elements (25) and a tunnel roller (10) that is slotted. Another stop is arranged between another thrust bearing (31) and the idle gears. The idle gears are axial free from clearance and clamped between the thrust bearings. The rolling elements and the tunnel roller are rolling supported into a retainer (32).
