<p>The method involves testing a program (101) using a predefined safety test while the program is executed. A module from a set of modules is tested (102) using the module test to be predefined while the program is executed. The predefined module test is performed by a set of predefined module test parts, where each module test part is predefined for testing the module from the modules. Input quantities to be fixed are entered into the module for each module test, and output quantities to be ascertained are compared to target output quantities to provide a module test result.
