<p>The need in the art is addressed by the present invention which provides a simple current controlled switched mode power supply with leading edge blanking, slope compensation and voltage feed forward. The invention includes a pulse width modulator (12) for providing a switch activation signal in response to a slope compensation and voltage feed forward signal. A transformer (T1) converts an input signal from a power source to an output signal. A transistor switch (Q1) allows current to flow in the transformer (T1) in response to the switch activation signal. The slope compensation and voltage feed forward signal is generated in proportion to the output signal and applied to the pulse width modulator. Various embodiments are disclosed for providing the slope compensation and feed forward signal. <IMAGE></p> |
