PURPOSE: Cutting method of plate material and a record medium recording program performing the method are provided to select original plate suitable for order plate, thereby minimize loss rate. CONSTITUTION: Order plate information is inputted(S220). Priority of order plates is determined respectively(S240). By usage of original plate information and the order plate information, arrangement possibility of the order plates of each original plate and loss rate using the rest area after arrangement are calculated(S250). By usage of the priority and the loss rate, optimal original plate and optimal order plate is determined(S260). Additional order plate which will be arranged in the area left after arrangement of the optimal order plate is determined(S270).
