PURPOSE: A data display device, data display method thereof, and a recording medium in which a data display control program is recorded are provided to easily display correspondence between data of teaching materials and a learning application. CONSTITUTION: An application memory unit memorizes a kind of an application. A display control unit displays data on a data display area of a display unit(21). An available application kind detecting unit detects a kind of an available application using data displayed on the data display area from applications memorized by the application memory unit. An available application kind display control unit displays the kind of the available application by relating the detection result with the data displayed on the data display area.
