PURPOSE: A method for controlling a stop position of a strip is provided to omit a recovery process by preventing an end part of a strip from becoming out of a welding position. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a stop position of a strip is as follows. A deceleration start length of moving speed of a strip(120) is set. A length of the strip wound around a POR(Pay Off Reel)(110) is estimated, and an estimated residual length of the strip is calculated by adding the length from the POR to a welding position and a PL. If an estimated residual length of the strip accords with the deceleration start length, a moving speed of the strip is correspondently changed to a deceleration range and a constant-speed range as long as pre-set time. If actual residual length of the strip is measured by sensors(140,150), the constant-speed range is changed as much as the estimated residual length of the strip and the actual residual length of the strip. |
