<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinged cap which prevents a liquid dropped from the distal end of a pouring-out cylinder to the outside from remaining on the top surface of the external edge section of the cap main body, and also prevents the liquid from splashing by the impact of the engagement between the upper lid and the cap main body when the upper lid is closed. <P>SOLUTION: This hinged cap consists of: a cap main body fitted on the container main body; and the upper lid. In the hinged cap, the cap main body is equipped with: the pouring-out cylinder; the upper wall connected with the outer periphery of the pouring-out cylinder; an external cylinder connected with the external edge of the upper wall; and a lid engaging cylinder erected from the top surface of the upper wall external edge. On the upper end surface of the external cylinder, a liquid reservoir recess section is installed, and a plurality of liquid holding ribs are arranged in the liquid reservoir recess section.
