The walls (8,9) are made from flat material with rebate ends and combine with a rolling pallet (1) to make a container which is closed at the sides. The rolling pallet has a rectangular baseplate mounted on four castors (2). The baseplate is fitted with support bars (4) protruding upwards parallel to the longitudinal edges. The two long walls of the container can fit together with the support bars. The longitudinal walls (8) have side edge rebates whose outer strips (14) are bent round 180 deg. Two end walls (9) can have side edge rebates which engage outside round the rebates of the longitudinal walls with their outer strips engaging between the outer strips (14) and the wall part of the longitudinal walls (8). The transport containers can be mounted side by side in compartments in a storage housing. The compartments can be closed at the sides and front by panels with access opening at the top.
