PURPOSE: A degassing apparatus under a vacuum condition and a refining method using the same are provided to effectively prevent insertion materials from mixing into a molten steel by a coolant. CONSTITUTION: A degassing apparatus under a vacuum condition comprises a vessel(20), and a temperature controller(50). The vessel comprises a space for accepting a molten steel and the lower part thereof is connected to an ascending pipe(30) and a descending pipe(40). The temperature controller controls the temperature of a molten steel by being connected to the vessel. The temperature controller comprises a temperature control block(53,54) and a circulator. The temperature control block is installed inside the vessel to touch the molten steel. The circulator supplies coolant to the temperature control block. [Reference numerals] (60) Controller |
