PURPOSE: A pop up type accelerator pedal is provided to improve convenience and safety when driving by enabling a driver to put a right foot on the pop up type accelerator pedal when needed. CONSTITUTION: A pop up type accelerator pedal includes a fixed panel(10), an accelerator pedal panel(20), a main hinge component(30), a main hinge pin(31), a motor load hinge component(40), a straight type motor(50), a motor load(51), and a return spring(60). The fixed panel is fixed, connected to the upper end of a driver's seat or the right side surface of a console in a vehicle body, and supported. The fixed panel has the hollow passing through the center. The accelerator pedal panel is placed on the hollow of the fixed panel with which the accelerator pedal panel is combined rotatably. The main hinge component is formed integrally on the rear surface of the accelerator pedal panel. The main hinge pin passes through the inside of the main hinge component, and both ends are combined with the fixed panel. The motor load hinge component is formed integrally on the lower part of the rear surface of the accelerator pedal panel. The straight type motor and the motor load are combined with the motor load hinge component, and control the rotation of the accelerator pedal panel. The return spring is combined with the accelerator pedal panel, and provides elastic force for the accelerator pedal panel. |
